A Shoebox of Baseball Cards: Kansas City Royals

Well, no matter what happens tonight or tomorrow, it'll be the four straight, different World Series winner this year. 2013 Red Sox, 2014 Giants, 2015 Royals, and 2016 Indians/Cubs???

From the Shoebox files...the most recent World Series winners, the  Kansas City Royals, here are represented in the beginning of their too-long drought. Back when Danny Tartabull and  Kevin Seitzer were golden prospects. He did finish second in the Rookie of the Year voting in 1987, behind only Mark McGwire, who far out distanced Seitzer in the voting.

I always knew Gary Gaetti as a Twins player and was kind of surprised to see him in a Royals uniform. Gregg Jeffries and Vince Coleman, too. But, those were the 90s.
