John Kruk 1996

Well, this is weird looking.  Upper Deck's 1996 Collector's Choice set featured John Kruk in some unusual outfit.

This card below, the Silver Signature edition of the above card, was a gift from Ty N and lead me to seek out the base card, above.

Ty's gift was the first 1996 Kruk card that I owned! Thanks Ty! He sent me also a 1990 Score and a 1995 Upper Deck. Both were in my collection already but the 1990 Score was in much better shape my previous one, which I'd had for a while.

Thanks Ty!

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I have no recollection of him on the White Sox either! But I'm still glad he looks the way he did there.

  5. Kruk WAS on Nick's "Short Term Stops" White Sox team, so there's really no excuse for not knowing that. B^) http://baseballdimebox.blogspot.com/2017/12/short-term-stops-all-white-sox-team.html

  7. Had no idea UD created a tribute card for Kruk... and like several other people who commented... had no idea he played for the White Sox.
